When I work with a business I tell their story visually, creating an image library to support key marketing messages but we know the content creation doesn’t just stop when I walk out the door after a professional photoshoot. As entrepreneurs and business owners you are constantly refreshing images and documenting the day-to-day to put your brand story out into the market. So I’m a realist who believes in helping you do that – I know growing businesses have demands on time and resources that mean a professional shoot every time just isn’t always practical…. so I help empower you to capture some of the journey better yourself.
So whether you’re not ready to invest in a professional shoot, or just want to up your business image game all-year round between shoots, I offer training and mentoring to help. From 1-on-1 online mentoring, to small group workshops or larger webinar/conference presentations I can help teach growing businesses what makes a good photo and some tips and tricks to get the most out of their day-to-day content opportunities.
1-on-1 Online Mentoring - Investment from £65/hr
1 hour video mentoring session via Zoom to help small businesses take better photos.
We spend an hour together talking about the images your business story might need and diving deeper into any aspects of photography you’re struggling with.
I take a look at your website, social media etc to evaluate your existing images and make recommendations with the kinds of images you could create, ideas for self shooting, tips to improve the imagery you’re taking, and answer any questions you might have at all about how to take better photos and showcase your business.
Bespoke Small Business Workshops - Investment from £125/hr
Ideal for business owners wanting to up-skill a small team on how to get the most out of day-to-day photo opportunities to create social media content.
Workshops delivered in person in a non-technical way using simple language & practical tips.
Option to create bespoke workshop content to cover the key image topics your business needs.
Typically includes short session on the basics of what makes a good photo & common pitfalls alongside demo scenarios tailored to your sector and available equipment.
1 hour workshop on location for up to 5 people from £125 – bespoke quotes for additional time/participants available on request.
Online Webinars - Investment from £150
If you have a larger group audience or are hosting an event or conference focused on content creation I can help you put on an engaging session to help your attendees improve their business imagery.
Without getting too technical, I can present and share basic principles of what makes a good photo, what to look out for when picking up your smartphone, or camera, and share tips to help improve your online imagery. Can include for example:
- Common photo pitfalls + some quick fixes
- What makes a good photo?
- The basics of: Composition, Focus, Exposure, Lighting and Editing style
- Gear you might need for DIY business photos
- Photo props + where to find them
- Image ideas: what to shoot + where to find inspiration
