A single moment brought me here.. The light trails of a yellow NYC taxi on Fifth Avenue one evening on a business trip inspired me to pick up a camera and learn to create amazing scenes myself.
Having left corporate life in the City to pursue my dream, my life as a professional photographer is all about moments – light hitting a favourite outfit, the storytelling scene I helped style, the laughs on a shoot, the glee as a business owner’s dream comes to life, and the pride when their story hits the press in print…
My wanderlust has led me all over the world capturing people, places and memories. I spent over a decade living in London before relocating and coming back to my roots in my homeland of Northern Ireland, where I now live by the sea in County Down, near the people and places I love most.
Business Focus
I won’t bore you with my CV and qualifications but I will tell you I have spent over a decade in big business communicating stories, strategies and investment cases. As a small business owner myself I also know the challenges of getting your story out there. That’s why I love helping growing businesses create imagery that shows off their services, products and people at their best. My best days at work are spent bringing a brand story to life so entrepreneurs can really show the world, their market, and their backers their vision… and if I’m not shooting you’ll probably find me out networking and meeting with fellow Northern Irish business owners.
Family Values
I might work with businesses but I also believe in capturing memories and marking milestones for families. I love those priceless moments and the emotional connection that only comes from family – a new little baby at home, kids blowing bubbles on a fun afternoon out, lots of giggles and games on a shoot, the tears and smiles when the family album arrives, and a beautiful framed piece hangs with pride of place in the home… I create bright, relaxed images and turn them into keepsakes and stylish art for the home. I work with families at home, or on location at the special places that matter most to them across Northern Ireland.
Passion for Print
Remember flicking through family albums as a child? A wedding album filled with family and friends? The familiar framed pictures on the mantelpiece, or sideboard? I believe in printing photographs and having albums and frames to share with future generations. I love to create family heirlooms with a contemporary twist and stylish wall-art for the modern home. That’s why I have carefully chosen some fabulous professional print companies to partner with. I work with each of my clients to hand select the ideal materials, colour scheme and style for their family so we can create beautiful bespoke print products. My amazing makers then use world-class professional digital printing, an amazing range of high quality materials, and hand craftsmanship to bring them to life so every item can truly be treasured.
